Linfen Qiaoli Airport, now renamed Linfen Yaodu Airport, abbreviated as "Linfen Airport", is located in Qiaolinanma Village, Qiaoli Town, Yaodu District, Linfen City, Shanxi Province, China, 11.5 kilometers from the city center of Linfen. It is a Class 4C domestic regional airport in China.
The original Linfen Qiaoli Airport was opened on September 1, 1959, but ceased operations in November 1960 due to various reasons. In November 2007, Linfen City initiated the reconstruction of the new Linfen Qiaoli Airport. The new airport was completed and resumed operations on January 25, 2016. On May 21, 2020, Linfen Qiaoli Airport was officially renamed "Linfen Yaodu Airport".
Linfen Yaodu Airport has a terminal building area of 26,000 square meters with 8 boarding gates; an apron area of 60,840 square meters with 9 aircraft stands for Category C aircraft, including 6 contact stands; a runway 2,600 meters long and 45 meters wide. The airport is designed to meet the projected demand in 2025 of 1.87 million passengers and 6,200 tons of cargo and mail.
In September 2012, Beijing Jinghang'an Airport Engineering Co., Ltd. undertook the airfield lighting, air traffic control, terminal building weak-current system, and perimeter security projects at Linfen Qiaoli Airport in Shanxi Province. With advanced construction techniques and high-quality workmanship, the project passed final acceptance at the first attempt and was successfully handed over, receiving high recognition and praise from the client.
